O Jerusalem

Last week I finished reading the book titled "o Jerusalem", it is one of the most facinating books on middle east history. The events leading to the formation of Israel and the related issues are well described with accounts from all the key players. One of the best points is that its an unbiased look at the events.

An excellent book if you want to know the issues behind todays middle east conflict. Its a bit long, but well worth it ! The story ends at the first ceasefire between Israel and the Arab states, I have started looking for good books on the six day war. The authors Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre have a few other books which I feel will be well worth the while; one of them being Freedom at midnight ( about India).
